​PURPOSE:  This committee shall promote the development of professional, paraprofessional, and volunteer standards for home-based family workers. The committee will also develop and promote certification, recognition and awards for home-based family service providers and programs.

FUNCTIONS:   This committee shall plan, promote and implement, training for workers and encourage other groups or agencies to implement local or regional training events related to home-based family services throughout the year. The committee shall also promote networking and the exchange of information and ideas among home-based family services programs.

This committee shall promote efforts to establish a scholarship for education of home-based family workers.
